Great Ball Won't Grab Pokemon

Playing Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR on ranked ladder, played a great ball. Played great ball, & despite a Zoroark V being in the top 7 cards of my deck, the game would not let me grab the Pokémon to put in my hand.
(I had this same issue that I posted earlier with an ultra ball play, so I think the problem lies in Zoroark V)
