Anyone want to try out this format I have come up with on PTCGL?

The tentative name is "Pyramid Format"

Pyramid Format Rules:

  • Scarlet and Violet cards and every set that releases after
  • No Rule Box Pokémon
  • ex, etc.
  • Must play (exactly) 3 Types of Pokémon (other than Colorless) per deck
  • Minimum 6 cards per Type
  • 25 Pokémon cards total
  • 15 Energy cards total
  • 20 Trainer Cards total
  • The type of card determines how many copies can be played per deck
  • Basic Energy – 0-15 CPD (copies per deck)
  • Basic that cannot evolve – 2 CPD
  • Basic that can evolve once – 3 CPD
  • Basic that can evolve twice – 4 CPD
  • Stage 1 that cannot evolve – 2 CPD
  • Stage 1 that can evolve – 3 CPD
  • Stage 2 – 2 CPD
  • Trainer – 1 CPD
  • Special Energy – 1 CPD
  • Cards can have their individual CPD adjusted (up & down) for balancing purposes
  • We want to limit banning cards as much as possible
  • All other Pokémon TCG rules apply

This seems... a bit too complicated. I like the idea but I think the rules need to be simplified a little.

Thanks for the feedback I will try to simplify it! Would you happen to be 10types from Youtube? If so keep up the good work I have been enjoying the content!
