Can you attack on first turn?

Hello,

Today I was knocked out in the first turn by a mew V deck. I know that some cards that have the ability trickster can bypass the first move rule. So I was confused on how I lost since it was the opponents first turn after winning the coinflip. How was this possible?

Shouldn't be possible, how did they attach the energy? do you have evidence of it?

You can attack the first turn of the game going second, but not when going first. Not sure if this helps at all.
