exchanging credits for basic energy

It seems like it's not possible to exchange credits for basic energy cards. On transferring I was most disappointed to say goodbye to my HGSS energies, but it seems like the faux-base set energies didn't transfer either? Then I thought I could use some credits on those stripy Generations energy cards, but there's not an exchange button for them.. Is it even possible to get them if you don't transfer with them, seeing as packs don't even give you regular art energies?

You get all of the non-holo basic energy for free.

That is false. You don't get the energies from Generations or Evolutions.. which is to say, the ones that would be worth buying. (You also can't exchange for additional copies of League Promo holo energies, which is also sad but maybe slightly more understandable?)
