Version 1.4.0 - Patch Notes

Hello everyone.

The Pokémon TCG Live game client will be updated on March 28th. The game will be offline starting at 8 AM PDT(15:00 PM UTC) and is estimated to be down for 8 hours. Please see below for the list of changes:

Known Issue:

• Scoop Up Net (RCL #165, #207) adds all attached cards, including the selected Pokémon, to your hand.
• Switching hair color for a newly selected hairstyle won't save and will automatically default to the original hair color in the avatar preview.

Highlights

• Fixed an issue where the Prize cards disappear from play under certain circumstances.
• Sky Seal Stone (CRZ #143): Fixed an issue where the extra Prize card was not being awarded under certain circumstances.
• Kyogre (CRZ #036): Fixed an issue where the Dynamic Wave attack visually placed damage counters but did not actually do damage.
• Hisuian Arcanine (SIT #090): Fixed an issue where the Irresistible Force Ability forced the player to move all Energy from all their other Pokémon.
• Added support for the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet expansion.
• Added support and updates for the Pokémon Tool cards errata.
• Updated the Standard format to use the new 2023 Standard format rotation.
• Updated the tutorial and granted new decks to use new cards and mechanics from the new series.
• The Scarlet & Violet Series booster packs contain 6 cards per pack.
• Updated the UI flow for Abilities that can make multiple attachments without having to reactivate the Ability.

Cards

• Brock's Grit (TEU #135): Fixed an issue where the incorrect type of card slots were being displayed and could cause the client to become unresponsive.
• Collapsed Stadium (BRS #137): Fixed an issue where the Bench was not immediately resized when this card was removed from play.
• Rayquaza (VIV #138): Fixed an issue where the Amazing Burst attack gained increased damage for duplicate Energy attached.
• Hisuian Arcanine (SIT #090): Fixed an issue where the Irresistible Force Ability forced the player to transfer all Energy off all Pokémon.
• Octillery (BST #037): Fixed an issue where the Global Status Conditions indicator was missing when using the Rapid Strike Search Ability.
• Fixed an issue where certain positive effects were missing from the Status Effects window when active.

Gameplay/Battle

• Fixed an issue on the mobile client during gameplay where the quick sort buttons for the hand did not work.
• Fixed an issue where the Poison visual effects replayed when inspecting the opponent's card.
• Fixed an issue where the Prize cards disappeared from play under certain circumstances.
• Fixed an issue where using the Stadium effect was not displayed to the opponent.
• Fixed an issue where the Energy pips for certain attack costs did not fill to match the Pokémon's attached Energy.
• Fixed an issue where the emote menu and selection menu could be opened at the same time.
• Fixed an issue where the highlight was missing from cards that could be played from the discard pile.
• Fixed an issue where the Energy pip for Retreat Costs of more than 4 did not fill when at least 1 Energy was attached.

Ranked Ladder

• Fixed an issue where claimed rewards appeared unclaimed under certain conditions.

Deck Manager/Editor

• Fixed an issue on the desktop client where an unowned copy of a card would be added to the deck instead of the owned variant when dragging cards into the deck.

Profile

• Fixed an issue where text could not be added to the friends search bar after submitting a friend request.

General

• Various other fixes and polish.
