Brace for Mega Evolution—Delta Reign!
Trainers! A storm is approaching Pokémon TCG Live, and we’re here to help you prepare! The Mega Evolution—Delta Reign expansion is upon us, bringing with it the regal magnificence of Mega Rayquaza ex, along with the machinations of Mega Malamar ex, Mega Golisopod ex, and Mega Golurk ex! New Mega Evolution Pokémon ex are far from the only exciting new additions in this expansion, however. The very landscape is changing, literally, with new Legendary Stadiums! This new type of Stadium is made by combining two separate cards, and they can propel your game strategies to the heights of a mountain summit or the depths of the ocean trenches, depending on how you use them.
Along with all the majesty of this new set, we also have a bunch of new events coming to Pokémon TCG Live to help you maximize your enjoyment.
Reach the summit of the Mega Evolution—Delta Reign Battle Pass
Starting November 5, 2026, and lasting all the way until February 4, 2027, you can climb up the latest Battle Pass to earn exclusive rewards featuring Mega Malamar and Mega Rayquaza!
Every Trainer will be able to start off strong by claiming the free Mega Rayquaza ex deck, and by reaching Tier 50, you’ll earn a Mega Malamar ex deck to use as well! You can also earn deluxe drops for both decks at various points within the Battle Pass.
New Mega Rayquaza ex lessons in the Learning Lab
With the fancy new Mega Rayquaza ex deck already in your possession, how about some tips to help you pilot it effectively? Head over to the Learning Lab to try out the new Classroom, including new puzzles to test your skills with Mega Rayquaza ex!
After you’ve completed the guided lessons and successfully solved the puzzles, you can either continue practicing with the Mega Rayquaza ex deck in the final lesson’s full practice match, or test your newfound knowledge in Casual or Ranked Mode battles!
Compete in the November Ranked Ladder
The next Ranked Ladder starts on November 5, 2026, and it’s packed full of new rewards to earn!
Collect an entire set of Mega Rayquaza deck accessories as you climb your way to the top—reach Poké League for Mega Rayquaza card sleeves, continue on to Great League for a deck box, and complete the set with the coin by reaching Ultra League. Players who make it to Master League will also be able to earn an entire set of Master Ball deck accessories if they haven’t already been claimed during a previous Ladder!
Along the way, you'll also earn plenty of foil, ultra rare, and illustration rare cards, along with generous amounts of Trainer Points, Trade Credits, and Mega Evolution—Delta Reign booster packs!
Have fun with new Missions, Build & Battle, and Trainer Trials
We hope you’ve been enjoying the Missions feature and are already eager for more, because Mega Evolution—Delta Reign comes with some new ones! Have fun collecting cards from the new expansion and earning unique rewards!
Another group of Build & Battle events kicks off with Mega Evolution—Delta Reign on November 5, followed by a variety of throwback events. For more information, check out the full 2026 Build & Battle Schedule.
Last but certainly not least, there’s a trio of brand-new Trainer Trials arriving soon! Start with another return of Champion’s Training Grounds from November 5 to 19, 2026, followed by mono-type trials for both Colorless- and Darkness-type Pokémon. Take advantage of these to explore some new strategies that might work well with Mega Rayquaza ex or Mega Malamar ex! You can find out more details on these challenges in the 2026 Trainer Trials Challenge Schedule.
Celebrate the 2027 Latin America International Championships
The next major International Championships tournament takes place in São Paulo, Brazil, from November 20 to 22, 2026. Don’t miss the action or the rewards you can earn by following along inside Pokémon TCG Live! Ahead of the event, keep an eye on the Pokémon TCG Live and Play! Pokémon social accounts for a special passcode that unlocks extra cool rewards. If you tune in to the broadcast on Twitch, you’ll also be able to earn rewards via Twitch Drops throughout the event weekend, depending on your watch time.
Get ready to battle in Mega Malamar’s Battle Marathon
As the days get shorter, darkness is starting to creep across the land and within Pokémon TCG Live. It seems Mega Malamar isn’t content staying within the confines of a powerful new card—it’s also planning an in-person arrival to kick off a brand-new community challenge! For two weeks, from December 3 to 17, 2026, Mega Malamar wants every player to participate in as many battles they can. Does it have a motive for doing this? We’re continuing to investigate, but we’ll need everybody’s help to get to the bottom of this by completing matches and earning as many points as possible.
You can look forward to more details about Mega Malamar’s Battle Marathon as we get closer to the start of the community challenge. Brace yourself for the battles to come!
Shop until you drop with Black Friday offers
Has all that battling and card collecting left a large, heavy stack of Trainer Points in your in-game wallet? We have just the solution for all that hard-earned currency. Black Friday is approaching, but Pokémon TCG Live has too much to offer for it to be contained to a single day! Check out the in-game shop every day of the week starting November 23, 2026, for a variety of new bundles with a veritable cornucopia of great items!
You’ve got mail! A new inbox appears
We are excited to announce that we’re introducing a new, robust inbox feature to enhance the delivery of information to players! This additional functionality will allow you to stay better informed of new changes and important notifications, and easily find the updates and content that matters most to you.
In this first update, we’re supporting messages for friend requests and match invites, streamlining the process of sending friend requests and inviting those friends to matches when you’re ready to face off! We hope you’ll look forward to taking advantage of more message types as they get added in the future.
Challenge your friends to Expanded matches!
You’ve been asking for it, and we’re happy to announce that starting November 3, you can challenge your friends in Pokémon TCG Live to matches in the Expanded format!*
*The Pokémon TCG Live Expanded format currently supports cards from Sun & Moon forward.
Take control of your gameplay experience with updated accessibility options
We’re adding a whole slew of new settings options so you can tailor your gameplay experience in the way that’s most comfortable for you. Starting Tuesday, November 3, 2026, you can find the following options available from the settings menu, either on the home screen or during a match:
- Disable or reduce the holofoil animation speed on cards in and outside of a match.
- Card sway (or hovering) animations have been removed in favor of new VFX that better allows cards to remain legible during gameplay.
- The new VFX will also be controlled by the existing card battle VFX setting in the accessibility tab.
- The following settings are moving to the accessibility tab (additional Battle Log settings will remain in the general tab):
- Enable/disable mouse hover on cards for desktop and 4:3 aspect ratio platforms.
- Battle Log VFX settings
