Kommo-o from Delta Reign
Hello everybody, I've been to the Delta Reign prerelease event recently and got the new Kommo-o deck. I think it has a very cool concept but I have no ideas with what to play it. Do you have? (for those who don't know, kommo-o is a stage 2 dragon type pokemon whose ability looks at the top 6 cards of your deck and lets you attach any amount of energy you find there to your dragon pokemon)

That's SUCH an overpowered ability!!!
Hmm… Up till recently I just played Expanded format, in which there are a few Stadiums that let you search for a Dragon pokemon every turn…
Crispin's awesome for Dragon decks because it lets you pull two different kinds of energy
Energy Search Pro might be the Ace Spec for this deck, but only if there are enough required types of Energy.
With that kind of Energy search ability, any Dragon-type should work with this deck (sorry if that isn't too helpful!)

Not a dragon type, but Lugia (30C 121) could work if you've got plenty of Lanas and Energy Retrieval…
Alolan Exeggutor Tera EX has an insane move that, depending on a coin flip, either KOs your opponent's Active or KOs one of their benched!!!
Haxorus is fairly cheap and pretty powerful…
Both of the Salamence EX are awesome
Dragapult is renowned for being overused in the Worlds tournament. That should tell you all you need to know
Miraidon EX is a good one, too
Tatsugiri Tera EX might be a good addition…
That's all the standard format cards. I'm not even going to try to compile a list of Expanded format cards… 😁
I personally would try Lugia, Tatsugiri Tera EX, Miraidon, Dragapult, Alolan Exeggutor Tera EX, and Salamence to see which ones work best.
