👻🎈 Please Consider Adding Drifblim to Pokémon Champions!

Hello Pokémon Champions team and fellow players!

I've been playing Pokémon Champions since its mobile release, and I've been really enjoying the game. One thing that makes my experience a little different is that I'm a huge fan of Ghost-type Pokémon. In fact, I primarily — and almost exclusively — build and play Ghost-type teams.

Because of that, I've spent quite a bit of time thinking about what kinds of Pokémon could add more strategic possibilities to Ghost teams.

And one Pokémon immediately comes to mind:

🎈 Drifblim!

I'd genuinely love to see Drifblim considered as a future addition to Pokémon Champions.

Why Drifblim?

The biggest reason is its Ghost/Flying typing.

A Ghost/Flying Pokémon would naturally be immune to Ground-type attacks, which could provide Ghost-type teams with a unique defensive and team-building option.

Ground-type attacks such as Earthquake can be particularly troublesome when building around Ghost Pokémon. Of course, there are already ways to play around this weakness, but I think having a Pokémon whose Ground immunity comes directly from its typing would create some really interesting possibilities.

There is also regular Rotom, which can provide Ground immunity through its Levitate ability.

However, I don't think Levitate is quite the same as having an actual Flying typing.

Levitate is an ability, meaning effects such as Mold Breaker can bypass it in relevant situations. With Drifblim, the Ground immunity would come from its Flying typing itself.

That makes Drifblim more than just another Ghost-type Pokémon — it would provide a different kind of utility.

⚔️ What Could Drifblim Add to Ghost Teams?

I think Drifblim could introduce a genuinely different team-building option for Ghost-type players.

A Ghost/Flying Pokémon could potentially:

- 🛡️ Provide a natural Ground immunity.

- 🌎 Give Ghost teams another way to deal with Ground-type attacks.

- 🔄 Create different switching and positioning opportunities.

- 👻 Give mono-Ghost teams a defensive option that doesn't rely on Levitate.

- 🧩 Open up different team-building combinations.

- ⚖️ Introduce a unique set of strengths and weaknesses compared with other Ghost Pokémon.

And importantly, I don't think adding Drifblim would automatically make Ghost teams overpowered.

Its Flying typing comes with its own weaknesses, and its stats, abilities, moves, and other mechanics could always be balanced specifically for Pokémon Champions.

That's actually part of what makes the idea interesting to me.

It wouldn't simply remove a weakness from Ghost teams — it would create new strategic trade-offs.

👻 Why This Would Mean a Lot to Me

This suggestion isn't just about competitive usefulness.

Ghost Pokémon have always been my favorite Pokémon, and building teams exclusively around them is one of the things I enjoy most about Pokémon Champions.

I love experimenting with different Ghost Pokémon, figuring out how their abilities and moves interact, and trying to find ways to make a Ghost-only team work against difficult matchups.

That's why Drifblim would be such an exciting addition for me.

It would give me another Ghost Pokémon to experiment with, while also potentially giving other Ghost-type fans a completely different way to approach team-building.

And honestly, there's just something incredibly fun about the idea of having a Ghost/Flying Pokémon floating around on a Ghost-only team. 😂👻🎈

🧠 It Doesn't Have to Be Exactly Like the Mainline Games

I'm also completely open to Drifblim being adjusted for Pokémon Champions.

I'm not suggesting that its exact stats, abilities, moveset, or mechanics necessarily have to be copied directly from the mainline games.

If changes were necessary for balance, I'd completely understand.

My main suggestion is simply:

«Please consider adding Drifblim to Pokémon Champions at some point in the future. 👻🎈»

I'd love to see what the Pokémon Champions team could do with it and how the community would build around it.

🎮 A Small Request From a Ghost-Type Player

I know that adding a Pokémon to Pokémon Champions involves a lot of work — animations, balancing, moves, abilities, competitive considerations, development resources, and much more.

I'm not expecting Drifblim to be added just because one player asked for it.

I simply wanted to share why I think it could be a fun, strategically interesting, and meaningful addition, particularly for players who enjoy Ghost-type teams.

I've been really enjoying Pokémon Champions, and I'm excited to see how the game continues to grow.

So, Pokémon Champions team...

🎈👻 Please give our floating Ghost balloon a chance! 👻🎈

And if Drifblim ever makes its way into Pokémon Champions and I can finally put it on my Ghost-only team...

I'll be one extremely happy Ghost-type player. 😂

Thanks for reading, and I'd also love to hear what other players think!

Would you use Drifblim if it were added to Pokémon Champions?
