Which kinds of Generations I-IX Pokémon do you wish that should return in Pokémon Winds and Waves?
There have been 1,025 species of Pokémon from Generation I-IX too many that shouldn't make their own available or playable comeback in Pokémon Winds and Waves, the video game due to hardware limitations in which there should no longer be enough time for a National Pokédex's comeback in this game, not even via any future DLC Expansion passes for this game. So, outside of all the ones revealed in the first trailer of Pokémon Winds and Waves thus far, which of the Generations I-IX Pokémon do you think will make their own comeback in these version of this game? Why? Please let me know, thanks.😉

The claim that it is not possible to have all Pokémon in a Pokémon game is nonsense. It is presented as if Game Freak are expected to remodel every single Pokémon with new animations, movesets and Pokédex entries. It is also misrepresented as requiring every Pokémon to be catchable.
What is instead being suggested is that models, movesets and dex entries can all be imported from previous games so that they are usable when transferred. They don't have to be available until the post-game, so it won't "ruin" the story, and they don't have to be usable in online tournaments to complicate competitive balancing.
Of course, competitive has now been outsourced to the Champions app, along with storage and trading being handled by the Home app, so I suppose that renders a lot of transfers to the new game redundant outside of post-game/DLC content and battles with friends. And pre-gen 8 transfers are gone in February anyway.
All of these are battles already lost, of course. The post-dexit Switch games are some of the best selling in the series and there are hordes of obliging shills and sycophants all over the internet ready to defend every cut feature and price increase. The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Nintendo... anyone making these decisions has been given the green light to forge ahead.
And so we are left to speculate which subset of Pokémon might make a return in a new game, and which will be sold back to us once again as DLC.
Because remember, no one wants all these Pokémon in game, yet bringing back another 100-odd Pokémon is a selling point of every DLC for some reason.

True, and third games are often just the same content slapped on a different box legendary

Well, you don't necessarily get a complete physical version with all the additional content with DLC, and it can depend on the amount of content and the price. Generally I agree.
But my complaint was specifically about the practice of adding old Pokémon through DLC.
If large Pokédexs and old Pokémon are so detrimental to a game, why is adding hundreds of old Pokémon a paid feature?

Zebstrika because it hasn't been in a game since Gen 6 if I'm not mistaken(not counting Gen 9 DLC but main game). Also I will always and unconditionally petition Vulpix/Ninetales because I really like them(both variants but Alolan more due to Ice Type). Expect to see Gliscor, Zubat, or Woobat due to all the flying bats in the region(perhaps even a new one).
