I've had Pokémon Champions since release, yet I've only reached Master Ball once, with a rain team - except that was way back in Season 3. For whatever reason, team preview is always super hard for me and I DESPERATELY need help on how to deal with Mega Delphox. The team is in the box below, as well as a link for it on Pikalytics.

    Mega Delphox is your issue?

    I personally use one as the star of my team!

    Anyways, Hisuian Typhlosion seems to be a naturally good counter to it but if the Mega Delphox user is pairing it with an Earthquake user (like I do) you'll probably want an Ice Type move on one of your Pokemon (assuming the Earthquaker is Ground type)

    And you have one with Mamothswine

    Perfect

    And if they're Rock Type (a type that can commonly learn Earthquake) Ground type moves are super effective

    I genuinely don't see a problem with this team…

    You make a few good points, Mamoswine's Ice Shard OHKO's most Garchomp sets, but H-Typhlosion's Shadow Ball only does ~70%-85% on 2HP/0SpDef Mega Delphox, and nothing else outspeeds it without Tailwind.

    Mamoswine isn't an optimal option either because M-Delphox gets Levitate, and Whimsicott would need to be present to set up Tailwind to avoid Mamoswine getting OHKO'd by Heat Wave (even with the Thick Fat resistance).

    I don't think I even need to explain why Scizor and Serperior are useless here, but Raichu is an interesting situation.

    Volt Tackle does KO extremely frail sets, but setting it up without catastrophe before is hard, since Heat Wave also OHKO's it. Delphox is also common next to and Fake Out, and as you mentioned, Earthquake users, often hindering Whimsicott's ability to set up Tailwind.

    I don't have protect on Whimsicott, and none of its current moves are very expendable, and no one on my team likes eating a Heat Wave, so I'm still kinda stuck in Ultra 1 for now..

    Okay, but the fact you have Choice Scarf on H-Typhlosion gives it a huge buff

    Anyways, I don't know how to help
