Misty is known as the Tomboyish Mermaid. It's due to how she dresses and it's been that way since Gen 1. It's kind of a character archetype that they've used from time to time in Animé. Recent example is this series below:
Reminds me of the beach Episode in Season 1 of Pokémon when Misty gets in a swimsuit and Ash is in shock that she's dressed like a girl(ditto the Episode with Misty in a Kimono). Whenever Misty or any Tomboy character is dressed normally, you get reactions like above.
As for Masters, I never played and don't plan to. Wish you luck though if you enjoy it.

Correct! I got his Superfan title (use 50,000 stamina with the trainer being on your team) only a month after titles were added (and yes, I spent 400 gems daily to get more stamina so I'd guarantee being the first to get the title. And I was! I checked as hard as I could to make sure that was true), got his lodge level to 1,000 under 3 months after he was added to the lodge (and currently have him at level 3,915), fully Superawakened him under 3 months after they added it for him, and I will have all 3 versions of him at Lv. 200 (as opposed to 2 at Lv. 200 and one at 184, as it is now) as soon as I get over my towerphobia.
