Ranked matches can be full of incredible comebacks and clutch wins. What's been your best experience during a ranked battle in Pokémon Champions so far?

    I have one!

    It was Season 3, and I was using a modified Mega Dragonite rain team, and this game had VERY high stakes.

    I was on a 7 win streak with this team, and I was in Ultra Rank 1, meaning, with the win streak bonus, a win here would get me into Master Ball.

    The match starts, and I led Pelipper/Archaludon into their Whimsicott/Metagross.

    I decided to have Pelipper use Weather Ball on the Metagross, because in rain, it would likely do ~35% to it, and I wanted to use Electro Shot on the Metagross as well since I figured it would mega evolve and the +1 SpAtk is always fun.

    So, I lock in the said moves and turn 1 plays out. They mega evolve their Metagross as expected, but.. the Whimsicott didn't go for Tailwind…

    it went for Sunny Day!

    Metagross used High Horsepower on my Archaludon, bringing it down to ~10%,

    and my Archaludon's Electro Shot is now two turns due to the Sunny Day, but my Pelipper's Weather Ball is now fire type.

    So, the 100 BP sun-boosted fire-type Pelipper Weather Ball launches, and it did 86% TO A MEGA METAGROSS, and they accidentally traded their own Mega Metagross for not much in return.

    I ended up winning the game and entering Master Ball🎉🎉
