Chapter 22:

Shiroboshi once again woke up in the middle of the night to a nightmare. The nightmare had been with Giratina again, Shiroboshi remembers. “Shiroboshi,” Giratina said, “You are the only trainer who is strong enough to work with me. Why do you reject?” “It’s simple,” Shiroboshi replies, “I want to stop you. If you don’t start fighting back against me, you’ll get blown away.” “I didn’t want to say this,” Giratina said, “But you truly aren’t the only trainer strong enough to wield me. There is another.” “Who?” Shiroboshi asked, Giratina responding with, “I can’t tell you that.” “Fine,” Shiroboshi replied, “Then get out of my dream.” “Fine,” Giratina replied, “But you have been warned.”

Shiroboshi was about to leave the suite when Bella stopped him. “What are you doing?” She asked. “Leaving,” Shiroboshi replied. “Why?” Bella asked, “You have no reason to.” “I do,” Shiroboshi said, “Giratina wants me to be its trainer. I’m going to stop him.” “Isn’t that what we’re all going to go do?” Bella asked. “Yes,” Shiroboshi said, with Bella cutting him off, “But you think you would be best on your own. Trust me, you wouldn’t. Now go back to bed.” Shiroboshi felt Bella’s eyes on him as he walked back into the room to go back to sleep. But sleep never came to Shiroboshi, instead he lay awake all night, thinking.

Bella had woken up from a dream message from Shade, when he told her about a prophecy. “Bella,” came Shade’s voice, “I have to tell you something, but I don’t have much time.” “Yes?” Bella asked. “It’s about the prophecy, the one Giratina is obsessed with. I need to tell you the prophecy,” Shade said, “Three trainers and one Pokémon shall approach Giratina, two trainers of Giratina’s blood, and one who has an interest in one of Giratina’s blood. This Pikachu shall determine the fate of the world, for it shall choose whether to aid Giratina in destroying Arceus, or to destroy Giratina instead. That is the prophecy.” “Why are you telling me this?” Bella asked. “Because I know you are in the prophecy, along with Shiroboshi and Siege,” Shade replied, “Plus you’re the smartest of the group of three.” “How do you know it’s not Izzy or someone else?” Bella asked. “I have other prophecies,” Shade said, “For instance, I know that I will be fighting Quorom, even though I have the blood of Giratina. I know Izzy will be fighting Omega. And I know that Quom will be helping me.” “Where are you?” Bella asked. “On Newmoon Island,” Shade said, “Now quick, we’re running out of time. Take care of the others, don’t do anything reckless.” Shade was cut off by Bella waking up.
