Thought if this prophesy can really be broken
Betrayal of trust his hopes fade to dust
If fate can be broken what’s the point of trying
So the young hero walked out and sat on a rock
An old man came up and said look not all hope is lost
Young hero tread the way forward
The kingdom needs you to be their savior
The hero looked to thank the old man
Yet all that was there was a rusty old journal

The hero picked up the tattered old book and began to read
It's a journal of an adventurer that did many noble deeds
The young foreigner was absorbed by the tales, inspired by this man
They noted techniques and felt their motivation grow
But when they reached the last page they were taken off guard
It was a picture of the man who gave the hero the advice
He was the author but it claims that he died a thousands moons ago
Confused by this fact but motivated none the less
The hero picked themself up and continued on their quest
