Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter sixteen
Chapter 16:
Siege was out training with Bella and Vee, who were losing their patience again. “We’re trying to train you Siege,” Bella said, trying to stay calm, “Why aren’t you paying attention?” “Hm?” Siege asked, “Oh, um, I’m not sure.” “Well, how about you start paying attention?” Vee said, with no calm left in her, “Now!” Siege sighed and said, “Fine, what are we doing?” Bella and Vee looked at each other and smiled, saying, “You’ll see.”

Vee had been Bella’s best friend when they were little until one day, Vee moved away from the Unova region and to Sinnoh. After Vee had left, Bella’s parents had shipped her off to the school of Fire and Ice, where she met Siege and they became friends when she saved him from a few bullies here and there and he started talking to her, eventually, she warmed up to him, becoming his best friend. “Here we are,” Bella said, “The training dojo. Are you ready Siege?” “For what?” Siege asked nervously. “Jubilife’s training course,” Bella replied, “Come on you two.” “Oh no, I’m not coming,” Vee said, “I’m going to give you two some bonding time.” Before either of them could say a word, Vee pushed them in and closed the doors. “What’s this course like?” Siee saked, with Bella’s response being, “It requires two or three trainers, lasts for three days, and the trainers are supposed to grow stronger and closer together.” “Okay,” Siege said, looking a little worried. “We’ll be fine,” Bella said.

Siege was extremely worried about this traing course, as he was terrible at Pokémon battles and he had almost no experience. “Where do we start?” Siege asked Bella, her reply being, “We need to go through the gates. To get there though, we need to fight some wild Pokémon.” Okay,” Siege said as they walked forward, a wild Charizard springing out. Siege screamed, leaping back, right into Bella, who caught him in surprise. “Send out a Pokémon,” Bella said, “Go with Popplio!” “Fine,” Siege says, panic in his voice as he sends out a Popplio, “Use Water Gun!” The Water Gun connects with Charizard, but barely damages it with Bella then saying, “Fine, it’s my turn to join. Go, Pri!” After saying this, Bella sends out her Primarina, instructing it, “Use, Hydro Cannon!” The Hydro Cannon makes quick work of the Charizard. After the Charizard faints, Siege’s Popplio starts to glow rainbow colors, Siege asking, “What’s happening?” “She’s evolving,” Bella said and sure enough, Siege’s Popplio had evolved into a Brionne. “Let’s keep going,” Bella said. So off they went, to continue through the training course.

Oh! Oh! I know what this is referencing! We r the only 2 people who know this refrence on the forums though. Its like the part in ES where Speed and Lazuili get locked in that shed! Did u make that a refrence on purpose?
