Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter fourteen

Chapter 14:

Siege had just returned to the place he and Bella were staying, when he noticed that there was a note on his bed which said; “Siege, meet me in the Galaxy Hall, NOW! -Vee” Who is this from, Siege wondered, as he left again, heading to Galaxy Hall. When he made it to Galaxy Hall, Siege stopped short, should he get Bella? No, he decides; he knew that she would be suspicious and overprotective. When he enters, suddenly someone grabs him from behind. Fear gripping hold of him, Siege kicks the person, transforming into his demon form and pushing away. “Ow,” the person says, “what did you do that for?” “You tried to grab me,” Siege responded, “Who are you?” “I’m Vee,” the person says, “Come with me.”

After following Vee to a secluded spot, Siege - back in his normal form - asks, “why did you take me here?” “I need your help,” Vee says, “Someone stole my Espeon.” “And you think I can help?” Siege asks, “I can’t even win a battle.” “Well, I’ve been watching you and your girlfriend,” Vee says, “I know who you are, Siege. You don’t need to have a Pokémon battle to get my Espeon back. If you want, you can bring Bella with you, though. She really likes you.” “What?” Sieg asked, blushing. “I’ve talked to her,” Vee replied, “She said she likes you as more than a friend. She’s fine with my plan.” “Fine,” Siege says, “But only if Bella comes.”

Bella and Siege have headed where Vee instructed them to go, but it looks empty. “Hello?” Siege calls out. “Quiet,” Bella hissed, “Someone might hear you.” “Vee told me something,” Siege says, “She said, that you like me?” Bella’s face flushed red, as she said, “Fine, I’ll tell the truth. Yes, I do like you Siege, but this is not the time for this.” “Yeah, you’re right,” Siege replied, looking at her with joy in his eyes. While overjoyed, Siege began to glow, wings sprouting from his back, but these wings, unlike the ones before, were angelic, white wings. A new katana also appeared at Siege’s side, this one glowing unlike the other dark one. “What happened?” Bella asked, astounded. “I don’t know,” Siege replied, “Maybe fear puts me in the other form, and this one is from joy?” “Maybe,” Bella said.

They were approaching a fork in the road, when Siege said, “Which way do we go?” “Left,” Bella replied, “That’s the way Vee told me to go.” “She didn’t tell me,” Siege said, “When did she tell you?” “She told me before she met you,” Bella replied, “She wanted me to come no matter what.” Siege considered what she said and then he said, “Well, looks like we’re here.”

They were standing in a cold room, everything pitch black, except for the light coming off of Siege. As they walked further in, Siege’s blood went cold, there was a pedastal in the middle of the room, and on that pedastal, was the royal emblem of the Makanoffs. “This is the home of the Makanoffs,” Siege said, “At least it was, before they made it to Unova and after the Shiroboshis took over.” “That’s, kind of creepy,” replied Bella, “But we’re still going to keep going." “Hello, you two,” came a voice, “How are you?” “Who are you,” Siege asked. “I, I am King Hades,” the voice said, “And you, Siege are my cousin. Bella, you are my future cousin. Oh, isn’t this exciting?” “Where is Vee’s Espeon?” Asked Bella. “I don’t have an Espeon,” replied Hades, “Why don’t we have some tea?”

Siege and Bella, having sat down for tea with Hades, were given many questions, “What is the world like right now? How is Willow?” Hades had more, but Siege cut him off, “Omega is planning a war against Venmos, Quorom is helping Giratina, and Willow hasn’t been seen for five months. Tell me though, why aren’t you in Lacos?” “Well, that’s because, Quorom has taken Lacos,” Hades replied, “But I should help you, how can I help?” “I don’t know,” Siege sighed, but then Bella said, “You can help, by getting your kingdom back.” “Alright then,” Hades said, “I’ll be off.” So, Hades left them and they returned to Vee.

“About what you said earlier,” Siege said, “Was it true? Do you really like me?” “Yes,” Bella said. “Why,” Siege started to say, but Bella cut him off with a kiss. When she pulled away, Bella smiled at Siege’s dumbstruck face and laughed when he said, “What just happened?” “If you don’t know, then don’t ask,” Bella said with a true smile. When they made it back to Galaxy Hall to report to Vee, she said, “Obviously you didn’t find Espeon. Because she was never missing.” “What?” Shirooshi asked, “So we did that for nothing?” “Oh no, not for nothing,” Vee said, “I arranged it all just for Bella. Hades? I arranged that. I did it all so she could confess her feelings.” Siege was angry for a second, then he was happy, glad that Vee had done this. “Also, one more thing,” Vee said, “Bella said I could come with you.” “Fine,” Siege said, “But we’ll be here a while longer.” and so, Bella and Siege returned to where they were staying and Vee returned home to see each other again soon.
