Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter eight

Chapter 8:

Quorom was quite enraged, as he had just come from the School of Fire & Ice in Unova emptyhanded. He had gone there to find his nephew Siege, and then Siege’s friend had somehow stunned Giratina. “Where are you going, Quorom?” Asked Giratina. “I’m going to find Siege,” said Quorom. “Go then,” Giratina said, “I still have to recover a bit.” “Alright, goodbye,” Quorom said, jumping out the window and spreading his wings. They were headed towards Sinnoh, he thought. As he flew towards Sinnoh, Quorom wondered about Siege’s friend; he seemed to like her.

Siege saw a figure flying towards them in the distance and he asked, “Who is that?” Quom looked up and her face paled, the figure was flying down to the as she said, “That looks like Quorom.” The figure landed, and as Quom had thought, it was Quorom, who said, “Well, what have we here?” “Leave us alone father,” Shiroboshi said. “Father?” Quorom asked, “Whatever, I’ll leave you alone, if you can defeat me. I’ll even let two of you fight me together.” “Fine,” Quom and Shiroboshi said, “We’ll fight you.” “Actually,” Quom said, “Izzy, you fight in my place.” “Okay,” Izzy said, confused, and then along with Shiroboshi said, “Go, Gardevoir!” “Go, Zygarde!” Quorom said, “Use Core Enforcer!” While the move should have had no effect, the two Gardevoirs moved out of the way anyways, getting a little injured by the attack. “Now, use Moonblast,” Izzy and Shiroboshi in sync, moving together to dodge the attack from Zygarde. “Zygarde, use Thousand Arrows,” Quorom said, with the attack not only hitting the Pokémon, but also Izzy.

Shiroboshi rushed over to Izzy, who had passed out from Zygarde’s attack; her forehead was bleeding. He picked her up, and rushed over to his Gardevoir saying, “Heal her, please.” His Gardevoir took Izzy, Shiroboshi quickly pulled a Gardevoirite from his bag, handing it to Izzy’s Gardevoir and saying, “Mega evolve. Use Hole of Darkness!” Izzy’s Gardevoir responded, knowing that they were doing this to save her trainer. A black hole opened by Zygarde, sucking him in. “Father, I don’t care who you are, you don’t have any right to do this to her,” Shiroboshi said in a cold voice. “Zygarde, return,” Quorom said, realizing that he had lost, then turning away and flying off.

“You’re awake,” came Shiroboshi’s voice. “What happened?” Izzy asked, still dazed. “Quorom’s Zygarde’s Thousand Arrows hit you, my Gardevoir saved you,” Shiroboshi said, “I finished the battle with your Gardevoir, I also gave her a Gardevoirite.” “O-ok,” said Izzy, getting up, “Where is everyone?” “They went out to scout for resources,” Shiroboshi replied, “I said that I would stay here and make sure you were okay.” Izzy wondered why he would do that, he didn’t really seem to like her much, did he? Izzy shook off these thoughts, Shiroboshi didn’t like her, he was just a good person. “That was... nice,” she said, with Shiroboshi responding, “I just wanted to make sure that you were okay. That was a pretty nasty cut.” “Well, thanks,” Izzy said. “Any time,” Shiroboshi replied, “I don’t think you should get up yet. Do you need anything?” “I’m a little hungry,” Izzy said. “I’ll see what we have,” Shiroboshi said. That was strange, Izzy thought. A minute later, Shiroboshi returned holding a banana, “I got you a banana, I know it’s your favorite.” “Thanks,” Izzy mumbled as she took the banana. “Do you mind if I stay for company?” Shiroboshi asked, “I’m not sure how far the others went.” “Sure,” Izzy said, with Shiroboshi responding, “Thanks.” “No problem,” Izzy responded, pulling out a book to read.
