Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter five

Chapter 5:

Shiroboshi, having finally calmed down, notices something behind them. Turning around, Shiroboshi sees someone slipping into the shadows, so he calls out, “Hey! Who are you?” The figure freezes and turns around, saying, “No one.” “Are you following us?” Asks Shiroboshi, the others finally stopping and noticing the figure. “Yes,” the figure says. “That voice sounds familiar,” Quom says, “Shade? Is that you?” “Quom?” The figure asks, “Yes, it’s me.” “So, you’re the one Quom mentioned,” Izzy said, “She claims that there was nothing between the two of you, is that true?” “Um...” says Shade, “Maybe?” “Shade!” Says Quam. “Sorry, no no definitely not,” Shade says, but his eyes look like he’s lying. “Why were you following us?” Asks Shiroboshi. “A couple of reasons,” Shade replies, “First, is because it’s my job, second, because you have strange powers Shiroboshi. Also, I wish to defeat Quorom, as well. I was hoping to perhaps, join you?” “Fine,” Quom says, “But only because we’re friends.”

Quom sighs, staring at the wall of the tent she set up for the night, thinking about Shade and their past. Quom is in a memory, watching her and Shade as they fight Giratina. “I’m back,” says Shade, “And this time, I have a friend.” “Do you think that will help?” Asks Giratina. “Yes,” Quom says, “And you won’t get away with this any longer!” As Quom says this, she sends out her Rayquaza, Shade sending out Cresselia. They looked at each other, nodded, and they both attacked. As soon as they attacked, a red light shot up and blocked them. Quom was wrenched out of her memory, when Shade knocked at her door saying, “Can we talk?” “No,” Quom replied, “I’m going to sleep.”

Shiroboshi was having a nightmare, or was it a nightmare? All Shiroboshi knew, was that Giratina was visiting his dream, “What do you want Giratina?” “I’m here to ask you to join my quest,” Giratina replied, “Your father isn’t capable of training me, no one is. Except you.” “No,” Shiroboshi replied, “I won’t join you, never!” Giratina simply laughed, “Yet you will, look at this image of the future.” As Giratina said this, he showed Shiroboshi an image, of them together, Shiroboshi training Giratina, and then an image of them before Arceus. “No, it isn’t real, none of this is real,” said Shiroboshi, with Giratina replying, “But it is, it is very real.” “Be quiet!” Shiroboshi shouts, but Giratina only laughs. “I said, Be quiet!” As Shiroboshi shouts this, Gardevoir comes out of her poke ball, summoning a black hole to engulf Giratina, but a red light came and entered it instead. Shiroboshi and Giratina both looked shocked, but as soon as he recovered his wits, Shiroboshi raised his wrist and called out, “Cresselia, wake me up, please.” Shiroboshi’s wrist started to glow, where a tattoo of Cresselia appeared. Suddenly, Shiroboshi was awake, It was the middle of the night, but he went outside.

Izzy was outside, keeping watch, and when she noticed Shiroboshi she said, “Hey, heard you screaming.” “I was screaming?” He asked. “Yeah, why?” Izzy responded. “I had a nightmare,” was what Shiroboshi said. Izzy, seeming to realize that Shiroboshi didn’t want to talk, stopped asking questions. They both sat out there in silence for a while, until they heard something coming towards them, both saying, “What is that?” They ran off to investigate but stopped short when they saw two trainers riding an Alolan Ninetales, right towards their camp.
