Yellow Borders and Fairy Type Pokemon make the tcg friendlier
I know that lots of you might disagree but there's some important reasons I think the tcg needs to roll back a few of its recent changes. I know they were made to be more in line with the Japanese releases but the game isn't only a Japanese one, it's international.
Firstly purple is a dark and foreboding type for the cute and fluffy fairy types that now occupy it. They are not served as well by this change as poison becoming dark is.
Yellow is a friendly sunshiney color that invites the viewer to gaze longingly at a card. Additionally it makes each card no matter how valueless look like a page from a nature magazine, complete with amazing natural photographs and descriptions of the amazing creatures that inhabit the world. It's one of the reasons I prefer standard cards to fullart cards.
(Additionally each set should include a selection of cards that are not in rotation from the series past to make those cards accessible to new players, à la the list from Magic the Gathering

I kinda like playing sylveon with Calyrex, so I dont mind too much. Purple is a nice color.

I don't mind it either and about the borders I actually prefer the current silver style like the japonese cards.
