Hello Trainers,
The Pokémon TCG Live game client will be updated on July 14, 2026. The game will be offline starting at 8:00 a.m. PDT (15:00 UTC) and is estimated to be down for 8 hours.

Featured
- Added support for the release of the Mega Evolution—Pitch Black expansion!
- New Build & Battle events and Trainer Trials challenges.
- New Learning Lab lesson covering Mega Darkrai ex.
- Road to the World Championships in-game campaign, starting August 6, 2026.
- Additional updates to the Deck Editor, including new Regulation Mark and Rarity filter options, card highlighting during inspection, and improved deck format selection.
- Some unexchangeable event cards will no longer be visible outside of matches for players who do not own those cards.
Bug Fixes
Gameplay/Battle
- Fixed an issue that could cause a delay of a few seconds before the Defending Pokémon is Knocked Out.
- Fixed an issue where an HP badge could disappear after a Pokémon devolved during a match.
- Fixed an issue where the focused card view arrow could appear unexpectedly while viewing Stadium cards during a match.
Cards
- Fixed an issue where Special Conditions were not removed when attaching Energy to a Pokémon that had no Energy attached when Festival Grounds (TWM #149) was put into play.
- Fixed an issue where Fezandipiti ex’s (SFA #038) Flip the Script Ability could not be used after one of the player’s other Pokémon was Knocked Out by Team Rocket’s Ampharos’s (DRI #074) Darkest Impulse Ability.
General
- Fixed an issue where adding 60 or more Energy cards to a deck could incorrectly show a duplicate 60-card error.
- Fixed an issue where cards could appear grayed out while scrolling the Card Library with the Not Owned filter enabled.
- Fixed an issue where the exchange visual effect could appear on every card after exchanging multiple cards.
- Fixed an issue in the mobile client where Trainer Trials could show a checkmark for the wrong selected mode.
- Various other fixes and polish.
