Another Pokémon Fanfic
Okay. So, first I'd like to say that I've been going pretty slow with the other Pokémon Fan Projects I'm working on. But, I'm still very serious about them, even working on those a bit currently. (But, I do have more Original Projects that I've got to focus on, not-so Pokémon related. So, since I'm primarily working on these Pokémon Projects recreationally, and without official Pokémon Company support, my original projects kinda take priority when I am able to focus on them.)
Anyway. As I was trying to request a catalogue of sorts, for the Pokémon Go stories as to make it so we can properly read and enjoy the chapters without a huge jumbled up mess, of completing different parts of each chapter mixed with other chapters (and so-on), in one huddled mess. —I mean, I appreciate being able to complete the story at my own pace, but it creates a whole issue with proper story chronology.
But, that's a topic for another post. Here, I am announcing that I am creating a fanfic focused on an idea I have for Pokémon Go. Instead of requesting something that might not ever occur. I'll just make the story, and hope they someday pick it up, and add it.
Not really anything new in terms of Pokémon and stuff like that. Any new Pokémon or characters are going to be restricted to a very few, or under limited guidelines. I don't want to squeeze too much out of it, with such little space.
This particular story is going to be one of my more casual ones, attempting to match the vibe of Pokémon Go, as best as possible. However, that does not mean I'll be slacking on the effort I put into it. I take pride in my writing, as I don't publish, unless I truly feel I did the best I could do. (Though, I have published things a bit rushed in the past, I refuse to rush the story, in my more recent works. And, I plan to edit the stories I rushed.)
As usual, I'm keeping the information on the project under wraps. But, this time I'm not revealing any details, as I don't plan on taking too long to publish these chapters. (However, I will say that for now, the main character will be known as "Player", and be referred to as "they/them", as to make it neutral for all readers, in the hopes of helping them feel more immersed. Please, when you read it, read it with your own name or alias, and read it with whatever pronouns you identify with.
I would state my goals for this story, but I feel like that alone would create potential spoilers. But, I guess, I do hope to show off what Pokémon Go is really capable of, even with limited resources or wiggle room. As they seem to unwittingly be limiting their potential. So, hopefully this story could inspire them, if it becomes popular enough. Heck, I'd love to see this fan story make it in as an actual event. But, let's just have some fun with it, for now.
