Hello! I want to make a Metagross (JTG) deck, but unfortunately he's not really able to take much in the way of damage with 170 HP. Aside from Hero's Cape taking up my ACE SPEC slot, are there any good options for increasing it's HP or reducing damage taken?

    Try Moonlit Hill

    Discard a Psychic Energy and heal 30 damage from your Psychic Pokémon

    Honestly, I would stay away from it unless you're just playing it casually for fun... a JTG Metagross based deck can't be competitive anymore and a poor choice for the current meta.

    Why focus on the meta?

    As long as you're having fun that's all that matters!

    The whole point of the game is to build your own deck that you love and battle others with it

    Just because it takes more effort to make work doesn't make it impossible
