I always liked Chikortia best out of the Johto trio and never liked Totodile or any of its evolutions, and considering they're having a mock battle with Chikorita on one side, I think we can safely say not everyone.

If Evolve's the first person you've seen going after someone for an opinion, I'm impressed but also know that's false. I know I've had arguments with you about some opinions. Lysandre I think, Sonic Frontiers… So in fact I would be before Evolve at the least.

Chikorita is an amazing starter. It's like if Bulbasaur was a dinosaur and not a frog, but with a simpler yet cooler design. It's a simple and stunning Pokémon line. I get you're annoyed by the argument and the assumptions Evolve8Eon made about you and other claims, but people can actually have different opinions than you and aren't liking "bad" Pokémon just to be special. What a shocker. If we want to discuss Pokémon that (I personally think) are bad, lets discuss Froakie. It looks so goofy. Why does it have front-facing eyes so high up only the base is attached? And they go away immediately when it evolves for some reason. What's with its nose? Did it hear most species have two holes for noses and try to be special by reversing that? Why does it have an American "foot"ball for a head? And the weird foam beard thing would look fun if it felt more intentional than as a side-effect of it being a scarf. Honestly, the biggest crime is the eyes. I know starters have to have big eyes for cuteness and merch reasons, but they don't need to stick outside so much, and they have even less reason to be front-facing. I think the design would be a lot better if they gave it eyes on the sides like Popplio, a slightly bigger body because gen one's designs were a hit despite them having less extreme proportions, and either gave it a longer head or lowered/shortened the eyes.
