It started with a detective flying out and catching Mewtwo

Then he gave Mewtwo to... I think Silver?

It's been a while since I read it

Anyways, we then switched protagonists to a boy that was trying to shut down the villain team (I think Team Rocket)

The last thing that happened was that boy ran into a female from his past

I think @Candy0_o was writing it but I'm not 100% sure

I was just wondering what happened to the story
