I have two distinct paths when I push past my peak,

One turns me to shadows, the other’s unique.

I shed my orange scales for a coat of black and blue,

With flames from my mouth of a scorching cobalt hue.

The Dragon blood within me finally comes alive,

As my wings become jagged, helping me thrive.

Who am I?

Hint: I am a mega-type Pokémon.

For the longest time that was my favorite Mega

It is now third favorite, but I still love it

Also, all the lines after the first two really nailed the description of it

I thought it on line 3, was positive I was right in 4, and on 5 I knew
