Region Relationships
This post is based off @Hey_PIKMIN's post about the regions relations with eachother. My explanation was too long to put in a comment, so I made my own post on it.
I think Kanto and Johto are pretty strong since they have real world relations to Japan
Kanto and Hoenn probably are also pretty close, but not as close as Kanto and Johto.
I feel like Kanto and Sinnoh are neutral
Kanto and Unova are a weird ish case. If this was real world history, they probably used to be enemies. I should mention that Unova is based on New York. The reasons why this is weird is because of WW2. But this is pokemon. But if this was similar to our world, then the relations between the two regions isn't very good
Kanto and Kalos. I think they would be pretty good allies. I'm pretty sure they fought together in the Great War.
Kanto and Alola are also a weird case. Following the same logic from earlier, they wouldn't be allies. But there's also the regional variants too. So maybe some pokemon from Alola transfered to Kanto. Maybe A. Vulpix had to adapt to the more humid environment.
Kanto and Galar. I think that they have a pretty strong relationship.
Kanto and Paldea. , they are neutral with eachother. If my theory is correct, The great pokemon war happened with Paldea and Kalos. There's also the pokemon regional variants too so that's why I think they're neutral
Johto and Hoenn are strong, and same with Sinnoh.
Johto and Unova are neutral and same with Unova, Kalos, and Alola.
I think Johto and Galar might have little relations with eachother.
Johto and Paldea are also neutral with Eachother
Hoenn and Sinnoh are chill
Hoenn and Unova are neutral
Hoenns best pal is Kalos due to mega evolution
Hoenn is also strong with Alola because of their tropical area. They might be pretty close on the map too
Hoenn and Galar are neutral
Hoenn and Paldea are decent. They still have the war history but its nothing serious
Sinnoh and Unova are decent
Sinnoh and Kalos are decent.
Sinnoh and Alola are neutral
Sinnoh and Galar have some weird stuff going on. Before Sinnoh, I believe that Galarians fled from the first Darkest Day to Hisui. Since the Galarians are some pretty strong people, maybe they saw this as weakness and now they have hard feelings towards eachother.
Sinnoh and Paldea. I think they also might have some unknown relations with eachother.
Unova and Kalos. I think they don't really have much going on.
Unova and Alola are strong because both are based off the U.S which are both states.
Unova and Galar. Since Galar is Based off the UK, maybe they might have weird feelings about eachother…? I don't know
Unova and Paldea. I dont know why, but I see a good relation with them.
Kalos and Alola are neutral
Kalos and Galar are probably pretty close
Kalos and Paldea aren't the best, but they are still close. They're probably really close to eachother on the map which explains why Fletchling is commonly found
Alola and Galar are pretty good
Alola and Paldea are neutral
And finally, I think Galar and Paldea are good with eachother
