It's night fall when me and @Smellykiki make it to the Guru's village. We have a quick talk and decide to look for the man in the morning. This plan changes, however, when the Guru himself approaches us right outside the hotel.
"Are you the ones @Hey_PIKMIN said he was sending," the old man inquires. The two of us confirm this and he smiles. "Why don't y'all come to my place and I'll give ya something helpful!"
Me and Kiki give each other a look that shows agreement and then follow him to his home. He welcomes us in and offers us tea, which I accept to be polite but don't drink. After me and my companion settle in his living room, he reaches into a cabinet and pulls out a box. He sets it onto the table in front of us. With a key, he unlocks it and holds it open, revealing a large variety of Mega Stones.
"You may each pick one," he states, but as I excitedly go to grab one, he takes me wrist. "But you each have to prove your worth in battle to earn it. A battle against each other."
I look over at Kiki, who is staring back at me with the same expression of mine: determination. We wach accept the challenge and take a Stone. I am tempted to grab Gardevoirite for Princessa, but instead choose Delphoxite for Phoxy.
(Kiki, Greninja can Mega, you could get normal Mega Lucario, or you could get one of the two Absolites (normal and Z))
