I think I’m going to go and try and draw my comic idea

well actually maybe…

I’m still going to try and do a comic but I’m wondering if I should first turn some of Leo’s and mirages story into a comic before writing dialogue and imagery from scratch (an idea and a plan through a plot most likely won’t actually help me since on top of figuring out how and what to draw I also have to figure out dialogue)

Bringing the question at the top of the discussion I don’t really have an art program to use (rather than asprite) and have absolutely no idea what I should get to start

Im also going to try and get out of my head the thought of perfection I want to tell a story in the way of a comic but I critique my every flaw with my art most of the time just end up scraping it if I try and practice til I’m near perfect I’ll never get anything done and experience is the best form of practice and I feel like I can get better tips for improvement if I have something I can show and be evaluated.

that’s all I have to say tho please give recommendations

well it actually depends on what style want to draw in

If you want realistic take a realistic class

If you want cartoony take a cartoony class

If you want all around take a all around class

ibisPaint X is my personal favourite. It's simple and easy to use, mostly free (though there are things that require money which I've never needed to use in my years of using it and ads you can ignore by just turning off internet while drawing), and has a wide variety of features. It's the best free app I could find.
