Genesect EX bugged

The protect charge attacks says this Pokemon takes 30 less damage from attacks next turn but that is not how it works. It makes attacks from the other Pokemon do 30 less damage. I had an easy KO on a benches mon and after playing boss's I went to attack and it showed the attack want not enough for KO because the attack was doing 30 less damage not the now benches mon taking 30 less. Is there a way to get the team to fix this or are we to just accept that is what is and move on. L
