why do I not get the prompt to ready up?

occasionally when queuing into Pokemon unite ranked I do not get prompted to ready up

I lose fair play points , I lose valuable time, I make every other person queuing in these long wait times wait longer. Please fix this bug.

I play on Nintendo switch OLED and this has happened to my friends on switch regular and on mobile.

is there at the very least any way I can reduce the odds of this happening
