If you get it digitally, you can't play it after Nintendo stops supporting whatever Switch 2 server they have. It has happened before with the 3ds. Plus, with a physical copy, you can sell it once you're no longer interested.

I think you could still play it if the (switch) servers are down but not do anything online or download anything new
