Because Wonder is 40 years younger and on a completely different console and not just 8 while being on the same family of consoles (not sure if that's the right phrase but my meaning is clear).

FrLg are totally different leagues of quality then rb like new Mario bros to Mario bros

No. It's an 8 year difference between RGBY and FRLG and there's 23 years between Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros.. 21 between Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros..

How old a game is doesn’t matter, it just matters if people like it or not

It does when it comes to price. People love FRLG but no one likes the price and to base a price on popularity would mean you'd have to pay the price of a modern game for a Mario Bros. port. Would you pay 70$ to play Mario Bros. on the Switch 2?

No (also it’d be under 20$ if we’re talking about Nintendo) because I don’t really like that game and I don’t really mind not being able to play on switch 2,

You said how old the game is doesn't matter and all that matters is that people like it. Maybe you don't like it, but it's one of the most famous and loved Nintendo games. Equating popularity to price, regardless of what's reasonable or not, would mean Mario Bros. from the NES should be 60$ on Switch, even if you, personally, don't care about the game, because "it just matters if people like it or not."
I'm not saying it's possible. I'm saying that using that logic would give you situations like these.

I don’t think Nintendo would release it for 60/70$ they’d probably only release it for like 15$ or less (preferably less)

As I said, I'm not saying they would or could or should, because there's no way they'd release a 40 year old game for the price of a newer one, I'm saying that the logic used here:
would mean that's OK, making it flawed.

What im saying is Nintendo would probably make a rerelease of Mario wonder more expensive then a rerelease of style savvy: styling star
