Winds and Waves starters
The starters are all based off of something and I think that's cool. I also want to mention I'm feeling burnt out on the forums and might be leaving soon. But I'm still deciding.
Let's start off with Browt. It's name is based off of eyebrows, and Sprout. It's based off of a bean sprout. Cool. But what about the animal part? Well, we have to look at the full body in order to see what it is. It has a Pompom tail fuzz at the end. Im studying in biology and based off of the tail and the beak, its a chicken. But I can get more specific on the type. My family has been around chickens for a long time and this angry bird character reject is based off of my favorite type of chicken, the Silkies.
Now, the fluff ball, Pombon. (I think that's its name. Idk) Looking at the root of the name, it has Pom, and Bon. Let's look at Pom first. The pokemon is based off of a dog, (its called the puppy pokemon) and what species of dog starts with Pom? Oh yeah. Pomeranians. It's a Pomeranian puppy. But what about the Bon part? Well I have three theories. Two of them are more smarter than the other. Let's start with the smart one. It's a fire dog and I was thinking, bonfire. Bon. That makes sense. And the second one... comes from b0mbs. Idk why but it makes sense. And I saved stupidest for last. It's name has bon because pomeranian dogs are very energetic and I see a dog bouncing through a field. Bouncing. Boncing. Bon.
And now for my personal fav, Gecqua. This one is pretty easy. The Gec part comes from Gecko. The lizard. And the qua part comes from the Spanish word, Agua or Aqua. Depending on where your from (i think) But if your stupid, then im sorry, but if you have a bigger iq than 110, then you should know that Aqua/Agua means water.
Now what does this mean for the evolutions? Well, Browt is probably gonna be a bird that drops bean b0mbs, Pombon could be like one of those Japanese dogs (Forgot what there called and am too lazy to look it up) or it might be a Undertale dog, and Gecqua could be another inteleon, but something else.
Fun fact, pretty sure this game is based off Indonesia.

If I can afford to buy a Switch 2 by next year, I'm probably going to start with Pombon, which would make this my 3rd generation in a row going for the fire-type starter.
Unfortunately, money is tight right now, so I'm stuck with just a regular Switch for now. Which means no Wind and Waves unless I can get a raise at work.

I got the black flaw white bolt (the names might be reverse) early and pulled the full art resharim on the pack I got and sold it and bought a switch 2
