A Fair Chance at Event Pokémon

I don’t know about the rest of the world but the US has a serious scalper problem. While I don’t have an idea for the trading cards I do for gift Pokémon like Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon. When cards with mystery gift codes were distributed I, and I’m sure many others, were unable to get one. My local stores were out almost immediately. I think consistently having the option to have a code sent via email or on the official site would make a much more equal distribution of events. I recall this being done in the past so it would be nice if it was a regular thing.
