Downtime has concluded and Pokémon TCG Live is back online.

Hello Trainers.

The Pokémon TCG Live game client will be updated on February 17, 2026. The game will be offline starting at 8 AM PT (16:00 UTC) and is estimated to be down for 8 hours. Please see below for the list of changes:

Content & Updates

Soon, cards with the “G” regulation mark will no longer be legal for play within the Standard format as a result of the 2026 Standard format rotation. The Study Season campaign is coming to help you prepare!

  • Added content for the Study Season campaign, starting March 5, 2026.
    • New Learning Lab lesson covering how to prepare for rotation
    • New Mega Lucario ex deck grant for all players to help study the new Standard format
    • New Study Season-themed deck accessories and avatar cosmetics, to be distributed to all players as a log-in gift
    • New reward cosmetics for Mega Dragonite, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Charizard Y
    • New pre-Rotation Trainer Trial challenge, Early Rotation

Bug Fixes

Cards

  • Fixed an issue where Lunatone’s (OBF #092) "New Moon" Ability wasn’t working properly with Jamming Tower (TWM #153).

General

  • Fixed an issue where Mega attack rare cards weren’t being automatically traded for Trade Credits when obtaining more than four.
    • Already owned cards in excess of four will be automatically traded for Trade Credits following this update.
  • Fixed an issue where some cards from Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes couldn’t be crafted in the Card Dex.
  • Fixed an issue where Friends List season rank and level were not displaying properly.
  • Fixed an issue where the new level wasn’t displaying on the home screen after leveling up on certain devices.
  • Fixed an issue where the progress bar while in deck view wasn’t showing the correct information on certain devices.
  • Fixed an issue where “No Expansion Name Available” was displayed when selecting to remove an unclaimed redemption code entered in the Redeem page.
  • Various other fixes and polish.
