80+ card deck mode
Could we get an 80 card deck mode, or just a 60+ (unlimited deck) mode and make it have more prize cards too? I just feel like the 60 card limit side lines a lot of interesting and creative decks that just aren't really possible to build with 60 cards. Also having only 6 prize cards means that the games often end in only a few moves as you have people building decks that take extra prize cards, so they take 2-4 prize cards (2 vs a standard card, 3 vs an ex/v and 4 vs mega/tag team) for a ko and the match is over really quickly. then you have people running decks that just discard all your cards in your deck in one turn and your left with nothing to draw and no way to return cards to your deck because all the cards for that purpose were just discarded. There's simply not enough time to counter these decks. The only way to win is to do the same thing they are doing which basically just defeats the whole purpose of the game which is to build unique decks. At the moment it just feels like the game is a rock paper scissors simulator with extra steps, there's little room for decks that can do it all and adapt on the fly
I'm not saying that decks that take 2-4 prize cards or discard their opponents cards should not exist, I'm saying the game should be balanced so they are less op via increasing the amount of prize cards and the deck size limit. To prevent bad prize card RNG from ruining your game (all your best cards could end up in the prize cards, which would be made worse if there were more prize cards) there could be placeholders added instead of more prize cards, for example you have to take 6 prize cards and then take another 4 worthless placeholders to win, the placeholders could even be made exempt from "take an extra prize card" effects depending on which decks are still too op, If evolution decks become too op then you remove the exemption, or make it so only the last two placeholders are exempt.
I wouldn't be surprised if this game mode I propose would open up more cans of worms but it would at the very least be interesting to try. Also if this game mode has already been tried in trainer trials then I'm sorry I missed it, I couldn't play the game for a long time because my game files were corrupted and the game installer would crash every time I tried to reinstall the game on that pc.
