I didn't expect to get asked when I made that comment

I was just saying that you triggered quite a bit of people with that comment

I don't know enough about the AI issue to make solid arguments

I can make a few based on little knowledge and opinion, but that's it

I'm gonna stop because I don't want a problem and I don't have the resources to make better statements

going back I have autism and adhd & a high IQ (tested on a 12th grade level in kindergarten) that is not an excuse for being bad at drawing a lot of my friends also have adhd an autism and I am the only one of them who isn’t out of this world with art yet I’m still willing to try to improve

Also for the IQ things there are studies that show AI actually lower intelligence and have people get to trusting in it make them make decisions that if they thought through then themselves realize it’s not smart also there has been multiple suicide incidents linked to generative AI

Plus it’s not fulfilling at all compared to doing it yourself last year I took woods with no previous experience and made a table in that class and yes I did make mistakes having a nail in an undesirable placement forgetting to put the hinges inside of my table even chipping part of a board wrong (and breaking a few in the process) my perfectionist self was very harsh on my mistakes yet when the table was done I felt fullfilled like I actually done it same thing with coding when I started taking coding it was so so so hard I had no clue what was a class or a method or string or anything and I still learned more about it helping me gain this fulfillment every time I learned something new

So I give you a challenge its up to you if you are willing to take it choose one thing any thing at all something that you are interested in trying out yet are to afraid to start try doing that thing for a month look up tutorials try to gain an understanding and each day mark what you’ve done in some shape or form at the end of the month compare your present self with the one that started and see how much you’ve improved and I promise you your going to be absolutely shocked
