It's been four weeks since Arceus spoke to me and two weeks since arriving in Hoenn. I've been through five cities and everyone I speak to there don't know where the Legendaries can be found or who the Society Fixers are. Me and Zane are currently on Route 111 searching for any sign of the organization or Legendaries.

"Come on, Arceus, give me a hand," I beg. "Nobody knows anything and I haven't seen a single thing that could point me to where I need to go."

There's no answer. "At least give me a sign," I exclaim, looking up at the sky (where I assume the god is located). "Something to get me going in the right direction!"

Suddenly, there's a giant explosion on Mt. Chimney. It's so powerful that it shakes the ground I'm on, and I'm at least 50 meters away from the base of the mountain. Me and Zane look over at the location of the boom, seeing smoke rising into the sky, and it's not from the crater.

"There's your sign," my partner tells me.

"Could it be less subtle, though," I ask.

"Let's not complain and go take care of the problem," the monkey says. I nod in agreement and we begin sprinting to the mountain, ready for whatever may be there.

— — —

"I wasn't ready for this," I shout as me and Zane force ourselves through the heavy rain but sweat in the harsh sunlight.

"Weather isn't supposed to combine like this," my monkey says, barely audible over the sound of the harsh wind.

"The only was this is possible is the power of- DUCK!" Me and my partner barely drop to the ground in time as a giant rock gets hurled at us.

"Legendary Pokémon," Zane finishes for me as we stand back up. I nod.

"Yeah, exactly," I tell him. I look through the unnatural storm, looking for any sign of our target.

"See the boss," Zane yells. I look at him with confusion.

"What are you talking about," I question.

"The person we have to battle," he answers. "They will be using Legendary Pokémon, and in most video games those are reserved for boss fights."

"Oh, then no," I respond, looking around more. I notice some dark clouds at the top of the mountain in a circle, giving room for the light. "My best guess is there," I tell him. "It looks like the source of the storm, so it's only logical that's where they are."

"Then let's go," Zane replies, slowly marching up there, me right behind. As we struggle our way up the mountain (why is it all up hill!?) we come into many close calls. Some times we almost fall, other times the wind will throw giant objects at us. No matter the obstacle, though, we keep pushing. Eventually, we prevail, reaching the top of the mountain.

"We did it," I exclaim with a sigh of relief. Zane collapses next to me, panting with exhaustion.

"How… are... you... not tired," he asks between breaths. I shrug.

"I don't know," I answer. "I guess it's from my old training. That wasn't near as hard as carrying boulders up the old mountain."

My monkey nods before taking a deep breath, exhaling slowly. He then leaps to his feet, looking determined. "Alright, let's get this over with," he says, looking around for our enemy.

I look around at well. This is when I notice that all the weather is gone. The clouds and sun are in the sky, but they don't seem to be doing anything. My eyebrows furrow with confusion as I try to figure out why this is.

"Air Lock," a voice tells me. I look over and see a man with long purple hair in a silver cloak and a gold suit. His bright green eyes are looking at me like they know every thought in my mind. "Rayquaza's ability. It cancels all effects of weather. You seem curious on where the weather is, so there's your answer."

So I guess they do know what I'm thinking. "So I assume that means you're my opponent," I question, Zane coming to my side.

"Why would you want to battle me," he asks softly. He takes a step forward, and that's when I notice that the crater of the volcano has been sealed shut, a solid earth there.

"Because you're part of the Society Fixers," I answer. "And you're abusing the Legendary Pokémon to get power. It's my job to stop you."

"So you are the Chosen One," he says softly, a small smirk appearing on his face. "Wow. I expected somebody older and more intimidating." He shrugs. "Oh, well. It doesn't matter. I'll destroy you still."

He snaps his fingers and Primal Kyogre, Primal Groundon, Rayquaza come to his side. All of them have tiny devices on their foreheads. "Those must be the things controlling the Pokémon," Zane tells me, noticing them, too. I nod in agreement.

"Let me properly introduce myself," the man states. "Lucius Devious," he tells me with a small bow. "It'll be the last name you hear."

So the battle was going to be a part of this chapter, but I like this ending

I asked my mom and aunt to give me an evil last name

My mom said evil and my aunt said devious

I already had the first name and Devious went great with it

@UnovanZorua @Thur55555555555 @Hey_PIKMIN @Joeybear7 @Voltareon2012 @PokeMom244

I believe that's everyone

Sorry if I forgot somebody

I feel like this is short, sorry

Also, I never played Sapphire and Ruby but I looked at pictures of the mountain but I don't know what role it plays or ever explored it

I assume Groundon is found there, but again, I don't know

Anyways, hope you enjoy!
