The Warrior’s Mission, Chapter Two
Chapter two
Auracalcum donned his cloak in his room. He left his hood down and took a deep breath because he felt the next step was going to be the hardest. He had to tell his father. Arceus, had told him he would instill words to speak but he didn’t know what to say.
As he entered the great hall the guards bowed their heads.
The great Chesnaught spoke, “You saw it, didn’t you, and you want to go and save the world. Am I mistaken?”
The young prince quietly responded, “No sir, I do want to go.”
“Then go, for I know all that is ahead for you, and the kingdom. Go to the barracks, a young aegislash resides there, he is the son of your master. He has already been assigned to accompany you,” The king commanded.
Auracalcum speechless, said, “Thank you, sir.”
As he entered the barracks a red aegislash spoke, “Auracalcum, prince, I have been assigned to accompany you. My father, your previous master instructed me. He said, ‘Young blade, the prince will come here soon, he has a great mission which you must aid him on. Three miles northeast of the castle there is a small village within it you must find a ceraludge, she is adapt with a blade. She does not know of your quest but if you tell her, “I and my party have been sent from the castle to give you chance, join us and your honor is restored,” I believe she will aid you as well.’”
Auracalcum responded, “Then shall we head northeast?”
“I believe so,” the knight responded.

Yeah, I am enjoying it to, making a character arc is hard for me.

I do it unintentionally
For example, a book I'm writing right now, two of the characters I made were supposed to be basic
Nothing special
No real motive or back story
No development
The more I thought, though, I accidentally gave one back story and the other motive
And now I love them more
Anyways, I rambled

Yeah, do you have any ideas for what aurcalcums arc could be? I really don’t know but he really needs one. Don’t worry about rambling, the only stuff of yours I don’t read because it is too long is you and Joey’s manga.

Anyways, let me think…
Maybe…
He has a trait that will revealed later that could have a negative effect?
I'm thinking he often tries to handle everything himself
It was stated that he shouldn't be protected by his father because he's full grown
He wants to prove himself as an individual, so he often declines others' help and rushes into things before thinking
Now that he has companions, he'll try to do things without them but in time learn to accept their help
Maybe they get him out of a very bad situation that he got into due to his desire to prove himself
This is just an idea, though
It's up to you what happens (but you know that, I know. I just don't want to seem like I'm taking over and pushing things onto you)
