“Dear diary, today is another boring day that happened to land on July third in the year five hundred. I had to train hard, again. I like to be stronger but this is too much. My father seems distraught due to the fact the Arceus has not appeared yet. Arceus was assigned to appear last week, he is never late. Dad has decided that he shouldn’t send his own soldiers to Mt. Coronet because it would not be holy to send ordinary warriors to supplicate a god. My father’s age is preventing him from making the journey. I think I may be fit for this job, but last time I tried asking permission my father rebuked me. I fear he feels sending me away would cause him to lose his only son and as a king he must uphold a sacred lineage.”

Humph, I grumble as I stand up of off my chair. “I am a full grown shiny lucario, a prince at that. It should be my duty to protect the kingdom.”

“Come on, kid. We have training to do,” My attendant yells. The wise aegislash used to be a strong fighter but now in his age his true skills lie in teaching his craft.

“Alright, be there in a sec,” I respond.

As I am getting ready I hear something, some form of commotion in the plaza, “Auracalcum, get down here now, something is happening,” The aegislash yells, louder than I have ever heard him yell.

I slide down the ladder in the way I invented when I was little, I run across the hallway thinking I should bump into someone, but it is empty, I round the bend, and leap down the stairs landing in a roll.

When I looked up, Mt. coronet was shrouded by a purple mist, lightning struck the top of the peak.

Everyone was in a tizzy, the wise ones theorizing, the guards plotting the next move, the children hiding, but I, I stood still and as I peared into the haze I saw, no I felt something, a presence.

A voice spoke out of the mist but no one else reacted to it, “Auracalcum, Auracalcum. You are the last hope, tell your father these words which I inscribe into your head and depart for Mt. coronet, my power is draining, I cannot tell you all until you free me.”

I responded, “But I am not strong enough yet, am I?”

“At the moment you could not handle all which lays beyond you, but when you reach it you will have grown, in mind body and spirit. The fact that your aura is strong enough to sense my presence is good. You must take the north road, wear a cloak and do not reveal your identity to anyone beyond the Great Wall.”

“I think I understand,” I replied.

“Good, now fly, and may my godly speed embrace you for there is not much time remaining.”

OK what do you think?
