Mew is easy to get in Gen 1 and the Trainer-Fly/Teleport glitch I highlighted is how you get it reasonably early. Once you do though and train it up, it's straight up broken with 600 BST.

    Wow, that’s some interesting glitches.

I knew about MissingNo and The Void but not the other two, very cool!

Can I mention one outside of these Gens?

    Gen 9

The cave right outside of the Psychic Gym location has a spot where it you climb it to the point you can't go any higher but keep trying and jump, you'll find yourself beneath the world

It's pretty cool and you should look up how to do it

Missingno appears on the Trainer Fly glitch when you pull a Special Stat that doesn't correspond to a typical Pokémon or "item" already in the game data(like Helix/Dome Fossil). Namely when you purposely encounter a Gen 2 Pokémon, you get Missingno. To duplicate items with the glitch requires you have a Special stat of 182-184, or the encounter of Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil or Lavender Town Ghost. Every time you pull those items, it's "stable" as in it won't hurt the game and I've used that to get unlimited TM's for ones I really like to use in Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Psychic, Earthquake and Body Slam. Really no point in duplicating Master Balls because by the point you have a Pokémon with 182 Special, you've pretty much caught everything already. Even catching Mewtwo with the method is safer than doing the real thing in the postgame because its a level 7(or less) encounter compared to level 70. Duplicating Rare Candies I suppose has a purpose though because grinding to 100 is a royal pain but there's only so many Trainers to duplicate Candies on and particularly if you try to get 100% Dex.

But I'd figured I'd mention that in addition to Mew on Route 25, you can also get Cubone(earlier than you could normally) and Gengar from Trainers there. This means if you wanted to use a Ground type that comes far too late to be of use, you could(even if its not that good). Then the Butterfree Trainer on Route 6(north of Vermilion) can yield Chansey(beats having to find it in the Safari Zone!!) while Magmar and Growlithe can be encountered on Route 11 from Trainers(great for Blue/Yellow version players). Pinsir can be encountered on S.S Anne and Scyther in Rock Tunnel with the glitch so yeah the Trainer Fly Glitch can help players utilize Pokémon they otherwise wouldn't in Gen 1 or help complete the Dex earlier than they could. Koga himself yields Flareon if you use the glitch on him in Yellow version(requires you battle another Trainer first). Just thought I'd mention that XD
