Bring back EX rule

Despite the pokemon available to play in the game, the biggest issue i am seeing and dealing with is the amount of megas being used in a game. Every team i have faced in ranked matches, they have used 2-3 megas in a game and with how very strong that is i believe that is a very unfair concept. About a year ago ir such we had a EX rule where no more than 1 ex on a team. Can we bring that back so no team can have more than 2 mega pokemon please? i dont wanna play another game where double mega zard and gyarados is in every game and breaking it

While I agree that multiple megas on the same team is broken and unfair, remember the EX rule wasremoved for a reason. Currently, the megas in the game aren't broken intentionally, it's just that tencent hasn't done a good job of balancing them.

The EX rule implies that there is a group of pokemon that are designed to be better than others, which causes huge problems for a MOBA like pokemon unite. If no-one on your team wants to play one of these pokemon, which is relatively likely, you have a huge disadvantage if the enemy team has one. Furthermore, each pokemon is designed to feel balanced and unique in their own way, which, while this isn't always the case with unbalanced releases, doesn't work at all in a system where a select few pokemon are meant to be better than others. Players would also feel this is unfair if they can;t unlock these pokemon give their high cost, especially in the poorly executed unite licence journey - for example mewtwo takes three months to unlock if you complete the battle pass every month. without the battle pass, it takes two years to unlock. If EX tags were reintroduced, there would be a strong argument that pokemon unite is a pay to win game.
