this may be simpler if you know what guard spec. is called in other languages but i want to take a general survey so i can only ask to not look it up beforehand. or if you know then you can mention it if so

bonus question: how do you pronounce guard spec.

    I pronounce it Guard Speck. I never thought about what Spec. meant but I've always associated it with glasses, since they're called specs sometimes if I remember correctly.
