Changes to Exp. Points
1. Changes to Exp. Point distribution
The rules behind the Exp. Points gained by defeating wild Pokémon or opposing Pokémon with an ally will change as described below. This change will apply to all Pokémon, regardless of whether they are holding Exp. Share.
- When defeating Pokémon solo:
- The defeating player will receive 100% of the Exp. Points.
- When defeating Pokémon as a pair:
- Each player will receive 65% of the Exp. Points. (This becomes 130% in total.)
- When defeating Pokémon in groups of three or more:
- The same total amount of Exp. Points that would be gained from defeating Pokémon as a pair (130%) will be evenly split between all players in the group.
These changes intend to simplify the rules surrounding Exp. Points and deepen path strategies. Will you have your team ace gather Exp. Points alone to level up quickly? Or will you work with a partner to maximize the overall Exp. Points gained? We look forward to seeing what new strategies and team compositions these changes inspire.
2. Changes to Exp. Share
Exp. Share will change as follows.
- Stats
- HP +240 → HP +360 (at Lv. 30)
- No change: Movement Speed +150
- Effect
- Removed: When a nearby teammate defeats a wild Pokémon, that teammate gains slightly more Exp. Points.
- No change: While the Pokémon has the fewest Exp. Points on its team, it gains Exp. Points each second.
Exp. Share is a held item that can help Pokémon level up.
