Pokémon mini re release

Next year will be the 25th anniversary of not only the Pokemon franchise itself but also the Pokemon mini device that released 25 years ago. everyone had never heard of this system before due to its failure, but there is an article posted 5 years ago that Nintendo was going to resurrect the system somehow. if that does happen, my way of seeing it is they can bring it back but updated to a multi media device, not just for playing mini games, each individual consoles parts and shell would match the current games starters as well as update the cartridges the games came on to and maybe release games that were never produced, they’ed can even remake them if they wanted to, they’ed be sold at notable game sellers, now that they sell other products besides games and accessories. That’s just my personal perspective though, but I am interested to hearing how yall would see it brought back as well as y’all’s thought on it in the comments.

@Hades0918 it was me, @Candy0_o corrected me about the anniversary being wrong and it is going to be the 30th next year, I just wanted to edit my post to add a little bit more I should’ve also changed the 25th to 30th, and no I’m not a spam account I’m just new here that’s all

As someone with a Pokémon mini, I don't think the device would exactly be something worth bringing back in a physical form. I would like to see Nintendo rerelease the software via Nintendo Switch Online, I think they could totally do that, but outside of a rerelease like that, I don't see the Pokémon mini coming back. I could see a sort of spiritual successor that takes ideas from it as well as the Pocket Pikachu and Pokéwalker, being a small device with a virtual pet like Tamagotchi, but there already is a similar device being released by Takara Tomy, so I think The Pokémon company and Nintendo don't see any benefit in developing such a device internally. It seems that the companies feel that licensing out the Pokémon IP is a better solution for these kind of devices. While I'd love to see a Nintendo produced follow up to these devices, I don't feel confident that Nintendo plans to make much Pokémon exclusive hardware outside of things like the Pokémon GO Plus +.
