What does each stat do?

so strength helps with melee weapons and unarmed strikes, dexterity helps initiative and long ranged and finese weapons, constitution helps with maximum hit point, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma helps with a lot of skills (usefull checks for roleplaying) as a rogue dexterity is the most important stat but they should also have some good roleplaying checks (wisdom, intelligence, charisma) since they have access to a LOT of things they could be proficient in i say the stats you should probably put your lowest scores are strength and one of the roleplaying check stats and the highest in dexterity and a different roleplaying stat

also for you scores i think i've decided (since different species have different increases to scores that you increase wisdom by 1 and dexterity by 2

I rolled 15 twice, removing the lowest number dice. Why is it 17 and 16 here?

i did that because each species get a boost in certain stats usually +2 in one stat and +1 in another stat

do you see the circle below each of the stats that is your modifier you have +3 in dexterity +3 in wisdom +1 in constitution +1 in intelligence -1 in charisma and -1 in strength this is needed for your skills

We will go over skills later now you need to choose a background these also give special benefits and profeciencies (there is a lot of them so it would be hard to list them all)
