Radiant Eternatus not working

Just ran into the Radiant Eternatus ability not activating when placing on the bench after searching it with Ultra Ball. This is the first main issue I've encountered, aside from my player customizations reverting to a previous change (I keep having to change my glasses lenses from 'shades' to 'regular' glasses).

was something on the field stopping radiant eternatus? like path to the peak for example.
