Is there a way to block someone on Pokemon trade

I was trading for a scizor and the person I was trading with wouldn't even trade back my Pokemon and he didn't even have a metal coat on his to evolve and I try to trade back but he wouldnt even give back my evolve scizor his name is LT on the switch

    No but they REALLY need to do so because all those scammers and genners are making me want to reach through the screen and pull their hair out.

    That's the risk you take on random Trades and finding trustworthy people is a tough thing to do. That's why Friends and Family are often the best ones for that reason alone.
