Rant: Max buy implementation

I need to highlight an issue with the "max buy" implementation and sorry for going of on a rant because i just all shop tickets on my account.
Managed my shop tickets, sparingly and with great consideration since the launch of the game. Saving them up was a fun part of the game for me.

I was going to by 2 copies of the poke ball card for flair, so i hit plus and ok and ok on all popups from habit. Im conditioned to do that by this game because it usually asks you to ok on inconsequential popups anytime anything happens.

But it was far from inconsequential this time.
I had not hitt plus i had hit the "max buy" button. The consequence of this is that, because the Poke ball card can be bought without limit, it used up all my shop tickets to buy about 250 Poke ball cards.
I contacted support and they already said that they can do nothing about it and that it my own fault for doing that mistake so please, if thought that thought, i understand your perspective and please you don't need to put effort into writing it out and send that to me again.

My saving since the release is lost, I'm devastated and i just wanted to highlight that a change to this features implementation needs to be considered
My suggestion is don't have max buy on something that you can buy an unlimited amount of times. Let us instead input a specific number. Otherwise don't put the confirmation popup in the same location and ease as all of the other inconsequential popup in the game, because some of us the play the game EVERY DAY, is conditioned to hit the popups immediately.
