Hello, I'm new here, and to Pokémon

Hello all,

I'm new to the Pokémon forum and just started playing the "Live" online app recently.

I'm familiar with TCGs in general, I LOVED playing Magic the Gathering (the old Kamigawa series specifically). I never got into Yu-Gi-Oh because of the vast and rather complex rules and such. Pokémon has come along and I like the very familiar play (a lot like the MtG rules and flow).

I'm a perfectionist and love tweaking with my decks, too. I am leaning hard toward the fire and neutral colored cards. (I had a red/white Kamigawa deck that I loved once).

Other than cards, I have worked as a law enforcement officer in a small rural community in Arkansas for the last 5 years. I had served the same area as a full-time Paramedic for 13 years before my current career.

I'm married to my lovely wife. We have 5 kids (2 from her first marriage, 3 from mine). We raise chickens and have pet turkeys.

Hoping to meet new friends, play new competitors, and learn and have fun with Pokémon!

Later!!!
